The Advanced Certificate in Nursing Leadership exposes baccalaureate-prepared nurses to leadership, business and executive skills in nursing as well as a deeper knowledge of the health care environment and relationship building. Leadership and management essential core competencies that promote innovative change and quality outcomes provide the foundation needed in a complex and dynamic health care environment.
Completion of this program may be applied to either a Master's in Nursing Leadership in Health Care Systems or a Master of Business Administration. This program is part time, with one course on campus (evening) to accommodate working nurses.
Completion of this program may be applied to either a Master's in Nursing Leadership in Healthcare Systems or a Master of Business Administration. This program can be completed on a full- or part-time basis is offered online in an asynchronous format to accommodate working nurses.
Additional requirements specific to each program may need to be met should the student wish to continue on to enroll in a Master’s program in Nursing or in Management.
