Student Fee Description

All approved nursing majors registered for any nursing courses pay clinical and technology fees to access resources necessary to succesfully complete their programs of study. 

Descriptions of these fees are available below.

RN-BS Online Resource Fee

$20/semester.  These fees cover online resources that SON faculty and students use to complete curricular requirements and assess student performance.  This includes program assessment through Educational Benchmarking, Inc. (EBI), and subscriptions to the Nursing Resource Center and HUBNET.  This fee also covers the replacement of technology used to implement the curriculum in an online environment.

Undergraduate Lab and Simulation Fee

$245/semester.  This fee covers student expenses related to their work in the clinical lab and simulation arena.  This includes the purchase of lab kits and lab supplies, maintenance of all lab equipment, student fees associated with interprofessional clinical simulations, access to the electronic health records system, fees associated with clinical site visits, and the replacement of lab equipment.

Undergraduate Online Resource Fee

$223/semester.  This fee covers student access to online resources throughout their time as a student.  This includes program assessment through Educational Benchmarking, Inc. (EBI), and subscriptions to the Nursing Resource Center and HUBNET.  This fee also covers their subscription fees, books, and live NCLEX-RN review session provided by ATI Nursing Education. 

Post-Baccalaureate DNP Student Fee

$141.25/semester.  These fees cover clinical and online resources that SON faculty and students use to complete curricular requirements and assess student performance.  This includes the SON program assessment through Educational Benchmarking, Inc. (EBI), and subscriptions to the Nursing Resource Center and HUBNET.  These fees also cover instructional and equipment support for extensive clinical experiences required for progression, including the School’s subscription to the Typhon system, fees associated with standardized patient use, off campus site visits, and access to the electronic medical records system.  This fee also covers the replacement of equipment needed for online course delivery.

Master's Degree and Post-Master's DNP Student Fee

$36.91/semester.  This fee covers expenses associated with the depreciation of equipment required for online course delivery.  This fee also includes the SON licensing of our program assessment through Educational Benchmarking, Inc. (EBI), and subscriptions to the Nursing Resource Center and HUBNET.
 

Nurse Anesthetist Program Fee

$434.67/semester.  This fee is required to reflect student costs for the use of online technology and extensive clinical experiences associated with the Nurse Anesthetist Program. This includes the SON licensing of program assessment through Educational Benchmarking, Inc. (EBI), and subscriptions to the Nursing Resource Center and HUBNET, as well as access to the electronic medical records system, and costs associated with standardized patient use and Typhon.  These fees also cover instructional and equipment support for the extensive clinical experiences required for progression, including lab fees, equipment replacment, and costs associated with the clinical evaluation of students.

PhD Student Fee

$244/semester.  The majority of this fee goes to the replacement and maintenance of the distance learning technology associated with the synchronous delivery of course content.  This fee also includes the SON licensing of program assessment through Educational Benchmarking, Inc. (EBI), and subscriptions to the Nursing Resource Center and HUBNET.

Non-Matriculated Student Fee

$231/semester.  The majority of this fee goes to the replacement and upkeep of the distance learning technology associated with the synchronous delivery of course content.  This fee also includes student access to the Nursing Resource Center and HUBNET.
