• Accepted students must complete the statement of intent form by the deadline listed in their offer letter.

Failure to return the intent form by the deadline will result in a forfeiture of your acceptance to the ABS Nursing program.

  • The School of Nursing requires all official non-UB transcripts be submitted to our office. You may submit transcripts electronically by emailing ub-admissions@buffalo.edu, or you may mail official transcripts to:

    Office of Undergraduate Admissions
12 Capen Hall, University at Buffalo
    Buffalo, NY 14260

Note: Preferred method of delivery is electronic.

  • For new transfer or re-entry students, admission to the ABS Program is contingent upon acceptance to the University at Buffalo as a matriculated student. UB transfer or re-entry applicants will receive their UB decision shortly if they have not received it already.

New transfer students must submit a $150 tuition deposit to the University Admissions Office by the deadline stated on their checklist letter. UB deposits are not required for re-entry applicants.

  • Complete the American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course for Health Providers (BLS) that includes a face to face demonstration of skill. Visit the UB Recreation Services page for BLS course information. The First Aid component is not required. Students will be able to upload a copy (front and back) of their BLS certification in UBlearns/Blackboard.

  • In accordance with New York State Public Health Law, UB requires that all students (undergraduate, graduate and professional) born on or after Jan. 1, 1957, provide proof of immunity against measles, mumps and rubella. The state also requires that all students receive information about meningococcal disease and have made an informed decision about whether or not to receive immunization against meningococcal disease. UB students will not be allowed to register for classes until they have fulfilled these requirements.

  • In addition to fulfilling the standard requirements — measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) as well as meningitis information — students in health-related programs must provide additional documentation.  You are required to submit the AIR form and upload it to the Traditional UB Learns group. Health Services must also receive a copy.

  • You can register for courses by logging into your HUB Student Center. To get to your HUB Student Center, log in to MyUB, and then click the “HUB Student Center” tab. Additional instructions can be found on the Office of the Registrar Register for Classes page.

When your holds have been removed, you may register.

Summer registration begins in mid- to late March.
