Carla Jungquist Presented at the American Society for Pain Management Nursing Meeting

Carla Jungquist, PhD, FNP, Assistant Professor of Nursing presented at the 22nd National Conference of the American Society for Pain Management Nursing in Baltimore this month.  Dr. Jungquist co-presented with Dr. Joyce Willens from Villanova University at the conference.  Their case study presentation was entitled “Monitoring Patients with Opioid-Induced Respiratory Depression:  Implementation of Guidelines .

The American Society for Pain Management Nursing's mission is to advance and promote optimal nursing care for people affected by pain by promoting best nursing practice. This is accomplished through education, standards, advocacy and research.
