Student Scholars Recognized at Annual UBSON Holiday Gathering

The UB School of Nursing hosted its' Annual Holiday Gathering for Donors, Special Friends of the School and Student Scholars at the Garrett Club on November 29th. Many of our donors from the community attended as well as several of our student scholars who have received scholarships from our endowments. Interim Dean Davina Porock updated the group on all the latest news and upcoming events at the School of Nursing including the following Upcoming events planned for next year:
April 13, 2012 – 2nd Annual Margaret A. Nelson Lecture with guest speaker Robin Whittemore, PhD, APRN, Associate Professor at Yale School of Nursing. Topic: “Internet Coping Skills Training Programs for Adolescents with Type 1 Diabetes”
May 23, 2012 – “Meet the New Dean Reception” A Celebration for Alumni, Faculty, Staff and Friends of the School of Nursing at the Frank Lloyd Wright Boathouse
