The Center for Nursing Research (CNR) is located on the 9th floor of Kimball Tower, University at Buffalo, School of Nursing and assists faculty and students to develop nursing and interdisciplinary research by providing consultation, computer resources, a research library, and a repository for research funding sources. The Center employs a staff of nursing and statistical consultants and student research assistants. Assistance from Center staff is available for grant applications, literature searches, poster, paper and manuscript preparation as well as other research activities. The Center also provides programs for faculty development related to research and study issues. The CNR assists PIs with grant management once funded. The staff of the CNR consists of the Director, a secretary, grants manager statistical consultant, and doctoral student research assistants.

There are PC computers (Pent-II/266 and Pent-IV/350) with complete mainframe and LAN access, and network connectivity to several Hewlett Packard LaserJet printers. These computers are available to graduate research assistants (GRAs) including office space in the CNR for GRAs working on faculty funded studies. There are also conference rooms available in the School of Nursing suitable to conduct interviews and focus groups. The rooms are available days, evenings, weekends. The PI can reserve one of the rooms whenever needed.
