We offer a variety of research opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students interested in exploring research and scholarship.
Cynthia Stuhlmiller is associate dean for academic innovations and community engagement in the School of Nursing. With a background in program development and evaluation, she is positioned to lead the growth of clinical and multicultural collaborations in our community and to play a significant role in expanding our global initiatives. Her experience in academic, industry and community settings — Australia, Norway, New Zealand, England, California, Hawai’i — prepares her to further the vision of the School as a premiere learning and research center and establish new international partnerships for cultural health care exchanges for our students.
Stuhlmiller is also an experienced mental health nurse with proficiency in mental health, disaster and extreme stress. Additionally, she will serve on the faculty at the University of New England in Australia, thus enabling facilitation for future global health opportunities between our schools.
