UB Open House l Highly Recommended

The best way to find out if the University at Buffalo and the School of Nursing is right for you is to attend a University Wide Open House. This visit opportunity will provide you with the most comprehensive information about UB and the School of Nursing.

UB Visit + Nursing Information Session l Next Best Option

If you are unable to attend the UB Open House date above, the next best option is to combine a morning North Campus Office of Admissions UB visit (presentation & tour) with an afternoon South Campus School of Nursing visit (Nursing presentation & simulation tour).

Prospective Undergraduate: ABS (2nd Bachelor's Degree) & Transfer Students

Nursing Information Session l Highly Recommended

Learn about the School of Nursing Undergraduate Accelerated and Traditional Nursing Programs, application process, and prerequisite course work. Students will also have an opportunity to speak to an advisor and get an unofficial transcripts evaluation.

Associate Degree Nurses

RN to BS Information Session

Attend a virtual or on-campus RN-BS information session, held multiple times each semester. During the session, you will learn about our program as well as the admissions requirements. There will also be the opportunity for one-on-one advisement with our RN-BS advisor after the session has finished.

Graduate Information Session

Information sessions will be offered once monthly. We will provide an overview of all our graduate programs and you’ll have the chance to learn about our application processes as well as deadlines.

Graduate Open House

Our graduate open houses are offered once a semester in conjunction with a larger event taking place within the School of Nursing. The prospective applicant will see hands on application of final capstone projects, as well as the ability to speak with current nursing students about their experiences in graduate school. An admissions and faculty presentation will highlight the programs in more detail.
