MyUB is a one-stop online destination for UB students, where you can access the HUB Student Center and find the latest news and events on University happenings. New UB students will receive an email from UBIT regarding how to activate your account.
Your UB email is the official communication at UB and powered by Exchange.
In accordance with New York State Public Health Law, UB requires that all students (undergraduate, graduate and professional) born on or after Jan. 1, 1957, provide proof of immunity against measles, mumps and rubella. The state also requires that all students receive information about meningococcal disease and have made an informed decision about whether or not to receive immunization against meningococcal disease. UB students will not be allowed to register for classes until they have fulfilled these requirements.
Waivers are available for those taking non-matriculated coursework and those in online programs.
All students will need to submit the annual immunization report (AIR) and flu shot prior to starting the program. Please see program related tabs for form and deadlines.
The UB Financial Agreement to-do item must be completed every semester in order to be able to register for classes.

Students at UB are required to have access to a computer and printer. Although ownership is not required, the majority of students will find these recommendations essential for successful completion of program coursework.
All new students must complete the AlcoholEDU and Sexual Assault Prevention course, which helps promote healthy behaviors and prevent sexual assault and relationship violence.You may take this course online beginning August 1 as long as you have been registered for fall courses (UBITName and password required).
If you have completed this course in the past, please fill out the Help Form. A Health Promotion staff member will help to determine if you are eligible for exemption.
All students are to review the school of nursing policy library prior to starting their program. Every semester you will have to attest you have read and understand the School of Nursing Honor Code. The Policy Library is updated on a semester-by-semester basis.

All UB School of Nursing students in clinical courses (UG and DNP students) are required to obtain the official ID badge approved by the School of Nursing and issued by the UB Card Office.
The cost of the ID card is $10.00 payable to the UB Card Office when you pick up your card or billed to your university account.
International students must complete the visa process prior to enrolling at UB. Please review your Slate portal for additional instructions and email nursing@buffalo.edu with questions.
