Why nursing?

After taking my first anatomy and physiology class, I was immediately drawn to the human body. This class inspired my nursing career and I have never looked back.

Why UB?

I was impressed with the reputation and standards that the University at Buffalo School of Nursing holds. The RN-BS program offers a diverse and modern educational concept that mirrors nursing today.

Areas of Interest

I am interested in critical and emergency care. I am a detail oriented person and love fast paced environments. I knew from my first ER internship that critical and emergency care is where I wanted to be.

Activities and Accolades

I offer my time to the community by participating in education and preventative screenings, as well as participating in fundraisers that help give back to kids. I am a honor student and a member of Phi Theta Kappa.

What's Next

I intend to continue to my education to become a nurse practitioner.
