Why nursing?

I decided to become a nurse because I want to help people in a fundamental way and be a part of their care and recovery. I always loved the idea of helping others.

Why UB?

I selected UB because of its great nursing program, the opportunity to apply to the ABS program, and its distance.

Areas of Interest

I am most interested in addiction medicine, neurology, and geriatric care. I love these areas and find them very interesting and I love the populations you are able to work with.

Activities and Accolades

I graduated with honors with my BA in Psychology in 2020. I was extremely proud of this accomplishment and worked very hard to achieve good grades. I made the dean’s list during this time which I am very proud of as well.

Hobbies

I love music, dancing, traveling, and going on walks. I love outdoor cookouts and hanging out with my family who are my biggest supporters.

What's Next

I plan to get my master’s in Nursing and would like to work in both in-patient and out-patient settings. I would love to also try teaching someday. I had amazing professors during my time as a student at UB and would like to explore teaching as well.

Grateful

This scholarship will be extremely helpful. The Fuld Fellowship will help me very much to pay for tuition, books, and other supplies I will need and I am honored to have been selected.
