Several faculty members, along with a PhD candidate, attended the 2016 ENRS conference in Pittsburgh.

Faculty members Carla Jungquist, Suzanne Dickerson, and Grace Dean, along with PhD candidate Carleara Ferreira Da Rosa Silva, travelled to Pittsburg to present a conference paper on a unique methodology to assess chronotype in lung cancer survivors.

The purpose of the group's study, "Determining the Relationship Between Chronotype and Light Exposure in Lung Cancer Survivors - Proposing a New Methodology," is to "develop a unique methodology to assess chronotype in lung cancer survivors to support the deliver Bright Light Therapy as an intervention to improve fatigue and sleep disturbances in that population."

Established in 1988, the ENRS is the "research arm of the Mid-Atlantic Regional Nursing Association (MARNA) and the New England Organization for Nursing (NEON)."  

The focus of the Eastern Nursing Research Society (ENRS) 28th Annual Scientific Sessions was "Nursing Science: Bridging Research and Health."
