Pamela Paplham, DNP, AOCNP®, FNP-BC is the recipient of the 2014 ONS Excellence in Blood and Marrow Transplantation Award to be given out at the Oncology Nursing Society’s Annual Congress on May 1 in Anaheim, California.

This prestigious award recognizes and supports excellence and outstanding achievements related to education, clinical practice, and nursing research in the field of blood and marrow transplantation.  As a recognized expert in this field, Dr. Paplham has made significant contributions related to blood and marrow transplantation through her clinical practice at Roswell Park Cancer Institute as a BMT Nurse Practitioner in the Department of Hematological Oncology and in her program of clinical research in the areas of Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation (HCT), Cancer Survivorship, and Chronic Graft versus Host Disease and Long Term Complications of HCT at the University at Buffalo School of Nursing where she is currently a Clinical Associate Professor.
