Professor Cynthia Stuhlmiller was published for her work “Population Health Outcomes of a Student-Led Free Health Clinic for an Underserved Population: A Naturalistic Study” in the July 2017 issue of “Journal of Community Health.”
The article discusses the health benefits of a student-led clinic in an underserved regional Australia community that was receiving inadequate health care. The health problems faced by this population include low life expectancy, higher levels for chronic disease and elevated smoking and drinking.
