"UB is world renowned for academic quality, especially in fields of health care. The School of Nursing is excellent and the focus on research within the department is exemplar. At all levels UB was the best academic, professional, and financial fit for my goals. I was within the School of Nursing for a long time, almost 10 years. The faculty became my family. They were knowledgeable, supportive and motivating. It was a course I took during my FNP program that sparked my interest in genetics and led me to pursue this profession, [and] it is because of the faculty mentors that I had at UB that I am in the position that I am in today; they helped pave the way for success."

"The biggest benefits to attending UB are the opportunities for academic excellence, mentorship and quality experiences. My coursework was exemplar. However, it was the practical experiences offered through the program at all levels that really helped me to grow and learn. [My advice to prospective UB School of Nursing students is] take advantage of all the opportunities available in the larger UB community. Attend events, get involved work with others, volunteer. UB and the School of Nursing is more than just an academic institute, it is a vibrant community."
