Emily Vezina is a clinical assistant professor and family nurse practitioner who works as a clinical stroke coordinator at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. She has over 20 years of health care experience in a wide variety of clinical roles, including oncology, procedure labs, front-line management, and executive leadership.

Vezina is passionate about developing and promoting quality and safety in the workplace, building strong teams, and mentoring new leaders. She has led teams to achieve measurable results in key clinical areas at the site and system levels and continues to pursue continuous improvement in clinical outcomes.
