UB Open House: Highly Recommended

The best way to find out if the University at Buffalo and the School of Nursing is right for you is to attend a University Wide Open House. This visit opportunity will provide you with the most comprehensive information about UB and the School of Nursing.

UB Visit + Nursing Information Session: Next Best Option

If you are unable to attend the UB Open House date above, the next best option is to combine a morning North Campus Office of Admissions UB visit (presentation & tour) with an afternoon South Campus School of Nursing visit (nursing presentation and simulation tour).
Date: Offered monthly on select weekdays
Duration: Early afternoon UB visit (2 hours) + late afternoon School of Nursing visit (1.5 hours)

Two Step Registration

2nd Bachelor's Degree & Transfer Students

Nursing Information Session: Highly Recommended

Attend a virtual or on-campus information session. Learn about the School of Nursing Undergraduate Accelerated and Traditional Nursing Programs, application process, and prerequisite course work. Students will also have an opportunity to tour our simulation lab, speak to an advisor and get an unofficial transcripts evaluation.

Duration: 1.5 hours

Associate Degree Nurses

RN to BS Information Session

Attend a virtual or on-campus RN to BS information session, held multiple times each semester. During the session, you will learn about our program as well as the admissions requirements. There will also be the opportunity for one-on-one advisement with our RN to BS advisor after the session has finished.

Graduate Information Session

Information sessions will be offered once monthly. We will provide an overview of all our graduate programs and you’ll have the chance to learn about our application processes as well as deadlines.
