Why I Chose UB

I chose UB for my graduate education because of the opportunities to work with diverse and multidisciplinary clinicians and scientists. I hope to be involved in the community to reduce health care disparities by utilizing UB's strong community connections. My focus will be on those who are vulnerable to mental health and substance use comorbidity. My undergraduate professors and mentors at UB were influential in my decision to pursue research, and continue to be a major support system as I develop into a nurse researcher.
