University at Buffalo, School of Nursing agrees to accept all students who have earned the Associate of Science (AAS) in Nursing from SUNY Genesee Community College with full junior standing when transferring to the Bachelor of Science (BS) in Nursing with the following terms.

This agreement commences on the date of its signing and shall remain in effect until terminated by either institution. The content of the agreement will be reviewed every 5 years and updated as curricular changes are made at both institutions. Both institutions will notify each other when such changes are made.

Students must successfully complete at least 45 credits at the upper division (at least 300-level), including those completed within the major. Our RN to BS program is 31 upper division credits meaning 45-31=14 upper division credits needed. [Credits will satisfy the requirement if they are at least 300-level at the transfer institution AND/OR if they transfer into UB as an at least 300-level course.
