“The NSO decided to organize this blood drive in order to assist with the shortage of blood in our local community,” says Nathan Mogenhan, traditional BS in nursing student and NSO treasurer. “As health care students and future health care workers, it is important for us to contribute at a community level.”

At the time of the drive, the Red Cross was experiencing “the worst blood shortage in over a decade.”
