Since fall 2023, UB has welcomed over 200 full-time faculty in one of its largest hiring initiatives since joining SUNY. As part of the “Advancing Top 25: Faculty Hiring” effort, UBNow spoke with Daniel Smith, assistant professor in the School of Nursing, about his research, why he chose UB, and what it means to join during this period of growth.
