“Give Kids a Smile Day" is an annual event sponsored by the UB School of Dental Medicine. More than 800 children and their parents attended with many UB School of Nursing students providing community service by volunteering as part of their "Health Promotions Disease Prevention Course."
Many schools and departments at the University at Buffalo took part in this annual Dental School event held in partnership with the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association and the 8th District Dental Society. This event is part of a national effort to teach children to establish good dental health habits while young.
