At the University at Buffalo, we strive to create a safe and inclusive research and learning environment. Students, trainees, faculty members and staff members have the right to learn, teach and work in a setting free of mistreatment, harassment and discrimination. If you have concerns related to treatment you have received from others, we have processes in place to provide you with resolutions.
EthicsPoint is a comprehensive and confidential reporting tool to assist management and employees in working together to address fraud, abuse and other misconduct in the workplace. UB and EthicsPoint are focused on cultivating a positive and safe work and learning environment.
UB’s Discrimination and Harassment Policy prohibits discrimination and harassment, and provides for a prompt investigation of reports of prohibited behavior. The Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) ensures UB’s compliance with policies covering discrimination, harassment, accommodations, equal opportunity and child protection.
Sexual Harassment Information Advisors are UB employees in your area who are trained to provide assistance and advice.
