UB Nurse Anesthetist students from the Class of 2015 celebrate their accomplishments and honor one of their beloved professors, Tom Obst, PhD, CRNA, who is retiring at the end of the semester with a reception at the NYSANA Spring Educational Meeting at the Embassy Suites in Buffalo.

UB School of Nursing alumni, preceptors, and students joined faculty and friends at a reception held at the Embassy Suites after the New York State Association of Nurse Anesthetists Annual State meeting to mix, mingle and honor Tom Obst, PhD, RN, for his years of teaching, mentoring and sincere commitment to the School of Nursing while serving as the program director for the Nurse Anesthetist Program.

There were many cheers along with many tears as current and former students along with colleagues and friends paid tribute to Tom Obst citing his passion for his career, professionalism, and dedication to his students as his strongest attributes.
